Our Metropolis producer Dave Nourse along with regular contributors David Damore and Matt Hufman as well as fellow Our Metropolis producer Jean Reid Norman discuss the controversy over the Bureau of Land Management’s roundup of rancher Cliven Bundy’s cattle in the area northeast of Las Vegas. The panel also discusses the recent editorial in the Las Vegas Sun about what it will take to improve Nevada’s lackluster education system.

Maybe you’ve seen a TED talk on YouTube or heard one on Public Radio – it’s a series that spreads ideas worth talking about. UNLV will be hosting its first TEDx event on Friday April 11th. It will feature both academics and regular folks with something big to say.
